KARACHI: The Karachi Port Trust handled 162,814 tonnes of cargo comprising 105,146 tonnes of import cargo and 57,668 tonnes of export cargo during last 24 hours, ending at 0700 hours.
The total import cargo of 105,146 tonnes comprised of 53,454 tonnes of Containerized Cargo,31,691 tonnes of Bulk Cargo,930 tonnes of Canola, 5,327 tonnes of DAP & 18,043 tonnes of Liquid Cargo.
The total export cargo of 57,668 tonnes comprised of 33,495 tonnes of Containerized Cargo, 307 tonnes of B. Bulk Cargo, 10,600 tonnes of Clinkers, & 13,233 tonnes of Liquid Cargo.
Around, 05 ships namely, Cy Victorious, Sloman Dispatcher, Seaspan Brilliance, Bow Flra, & Kurt Mas berthed at the Karachi Port Trust.
Approximately, 05 ships namely, Chemroad Wing, Gsl Cheisten, Al Soor Ii, Gul Bano, & Seapsan Brilliance sailed from the Karachi Port Trust.
PORT QASIM
A total of eleven ships were engaged at PQA berths during the last 24 hours, out of them two ships, Ren Ma Zuo and Al-Wakrah left the port on Wednesday morning, while two more ships, MSC Jeanne-IV and GFS Genesis are expected to sail on Wednesday afternoon.
Cargo volume of198,703 tonnes, comprising 124,320 tonnes imports cargo and74,383 export cargo carried in 4,830 Containers (1,776 TEUs Imports & 3,054 TEUs Export) was handled at the port during last 24 hours.
There are 19 ships at Outer Anchorage of the Port Qasim, out of them two ships, Nave Cassiopeia and Eva Trust & three more ships, Hansa Africa, Zhou Yue Yuan Yang and CMA CGM Verdi carrying Mogas, Chemicals and Container expected to take berths at FOTCO, EVTL and QICT on Wednesday14th January, 2026.
