KARACHI: The Karachi Port Trust handled 421,095 Tons of cargo comprising 288,688 Tons of import cargo and 132,407 Tons of export cargo during last 48 hrs ending at 0700 Hours.
The total import cargo of 288,688 Tons comprised of 118,573 Tons of Containerized Cargo, 24,092 Tons of Bulk Cargo, 19,323 Tons of DAP and 126,700 Tons of Liquid Cargo.
The total export cargo of 123,407 Tons comprised of 85,993 Tons of Containerized Cargo, 1,291 Tons of Bulk Cargo, 42,270 Tons of Clinkers, and 2,853 Tons of Talc Powder.
There are six ships namely Eleni T, Cosco Glory, Gfs Genesis, Oocl Le Havre, Kiran Anaatolia, and Celsius Emmen on Berth at Karachi Port Trust.
Five ships namely Valiant Wave, Jolly Oro, Talara, Cosco Prince Ruprt, and X-Press Phoenix Sailed from Karachi Port Trust.
Port Qasim
A total of nine ships were engaged at PQA berths during the last 24 hours, out of them a containers ship ‘MSC Marina Elena’ left the port on morning, while two more ships, Marina Aman and Bering Gas are expected to sail on afternoon.
Cargo volume of 123,872 tonnes, comprising 112,274 tonnes imports cargo and 11,598 export cargo carried in 1,193 Containers (1,193 TEUs Imports and 0 TEUs Export) was handled at the port during last 24 hours.
There are 20 ships at Outer Anchorage of the Port Qasim, out of them a bulk cargo carrier ‘Puerto Rosario’ and three more ships, MSC Michaela, Eleni-T and Al-Wakrah scheduled to load/offload Rice, Container and LNG expected to take berths at MW-1, QICT and EETL on today12th January, 2026.
