KARACHI: The Karachi Port Trust handled 111,353 tonnes of cargo comprising 80,500 tonnes of import cargo and 100,017 tonnes of export cargo during last 24 hours, ending at 0700 hours.
The total import cargo of 111,353 tonnes comprised of 53,033 tonnes of Containerized Cargo, 12,900 tonnes of B Bulk Cargo, 1,115 tonnes of Chickpeas, 5,833 tonnes of DAP ,2,665 tonnes of Lentils & 35,807 tonnes of Liquid Cargo.
The total export cargo of 80,500 tonnes comprised of 39,471 tonnes of Containerized Cargo, 1,516 tonnes of B Bulk Cargo, 3,176 tonnes of Cement, 32,782 tonnes of Clinkers & 3,555 tonnes of Talc Powder.
Approximately, 03 ships namely, X-Press Anglesey, Northern Practise & P Aliki berthed at the Karachi Port Trust.
Around, 04 ships namely, Gsl Grania, Ts Hongkong, Gfs Giselle & Ginga Endurance sailed from the Karachi Port Trust.
