LAHORE: Governor Punjab Sardar Saleem Haider Khan said on Monday that all provinces are federating units and its people are unified as one, bound by a shared spirit of unity and equality.
While addressing the grand ceremony of Sindh Cultural Festival here at Alhamra Arts Council, the governor said that participation of the youth in the Sindh Cultural Festival reflects that our young generation is striving to promote its culture with passion and courage.
He appreciated Pakistan Army for protecting the country's borders allowing nation to celebrate festivals peacefully and freely. He added that participation in such a large number of people in the Sindh Cultural Show is proof that the Pakistan People's Party is not a party of Sindh, but of the whole of Pakistan.
He said that Chairman Pakistan People's Party, Bilawal Bhutto will become the Prime Minister with the power of the people's vote in future.
On this occasion, he highly appreciated those who presented Sufi poetry in the cultural show.
Sindh Minister for Culture Syed Zulfiqar Ali Shah also attended the ceremony.
