ISLAMABAD: President Asif Ali Zardari has appointed Muhammad Zafar Ul Haq Hijazi as new Federal Tax Ombudsman for a period of four years.
Hijazi had worked as Chairman Securities and Exchange Commission of Pakistan (SECP) in the past.
In this regard, the Ministry of Law and Justice has issued a notification on Wednesday.
