DC Lakki Marwat visits officers injured in suicide attack on police van
- Instructs administration to provide the best treatment
Deputy Commissioner Lakki Marwat Hameedullah Khan visited on Monday the personnel who were injured in a suicide blast targeting a police mobile in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa’s Lakki Marwat district.
The ADC General, AC Headquarters, and AC Betni accompanied him.
Marwat visited the injured personnel and reviewed their condition. The commissioner instructed the hospital administration to provide the best treatment and all possible medical facilities to the injured.
He also appreciated the professional services of the medical staff present on the spot.
Pakistan has seen a rise in terrorist attacks, particularly in KP and Balochistan, since the banned Tehreek-i-Taliban Pakistan (TTP) ended its ceasefire with the government in 2022.
In September, security forces killed 17 terrorists in an intelligence based operation in Lakki Marwat.
“During the conduct of operation, own troops effectively engaged the khwarij location and resultantly seventeen Indian sponsored khwarij were sent to hell,” the Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR) said.
