At least 22 Indian-sponsored terrorists killed in Bannu IBO: ISPR
- Says sanitization operation being conducted to eliminate any other Indian-sponsored Kharji found in the area
Security forces killed at least 22 terrorists on Monday in an intelligence based operation in Bannu District.
The Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR) said that the terrorists belonged to Indian Proxy, Fitna al Khawarij.
The military’s media wing said that during the operation, its own troops effectively engaged the khwarij location.
“Sanitization operation is being conducted to eliminate any other Indian-sponsored Kharji found in the area,” the ISPR said.
Meanwhile, Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif appreciated the security forces and said that the entire nation stands with them.
He further said that the government was determined to eradicate all forms of terrorism from Pakistan.
On November 20, the ISPR in a press release said that seven terrorists belonging to the Indian Proxy Fitna Al Khawarij group were killed in three separate engagements across Khyber Pakhtunkhwa.
