Gold prices in Pakistan decreased on Thursday in line with their loss in the international market. In the local market, gold price per tola reached Rs426,562 after a decline of Rs5,000 during the day.

Similarly, 10-gram gold was sold at Rs365,708 after it fell by Rs4,286, according to rates shared by the All-Pakistan Gems and Jewellers Sarafa Association (APGJSA).

On Wednesday, gold price per tola reached Rs431,562 after a gain of Rs7,900 during the day.

Meanwhile, the price of silver also decreased by Rs93 to reach Rs5,329 per tola.

Moreover, international gold prices edged lower on Thursday, weighed down by a stronger dollar and reduced expectations for a Federal Reserve rate cut in December, with investors eyeing a delayed US jobs report.

Spot gold was down 0.1% at $4,077.82 per ounce, as of 0449 GMT. US gold futures for December delivery fell 0.2% to $4,076.50 per ounce.
