KARACHI: The Karachi Port Trust handled 106,850 tonnes of cargo comprising 53,178 tonnes of import cargo and 53,672 tonnes of export cargo during last 24 hours, ending at 0700 hours.
The total import cargo of 53,178 tonnes comprised of 42,045 tonnes of Containerized Cargo, 2,407 tonnes of Palm Kernel Expeller, 2,527 tonnes of Sugar, & 6,199 tonnes of Liquid Cargo.
The total export cargo of 53,672 tonnes comprised of 33,281 tonnes of Containerized Cargo, 180 tonnes of Bulk Cargo, 2,910 tonnes of Cement, 10,658 tonnes of Clinkers, & 6,643 tonnes of Liquid Cargo.
Around, 04 ships namely, Wan Hai 316, One Marvel, Harmony Gold, & Cma Cgm Zanzibar, berthed at the Karachi Port Trust.
Appximately, 03 ships, namely Kobe Pionier, Athba, & Cma Cgm Attila, sailed from the Karachi Port Trust.
PORT QASIM
A total of ten ships were engaged at PQA berths during the last 24 hours, out of them five ships, Marine Ista, MSC Barcelona, Chemroad Rose, Chemroad Rose, Falcon Royal and Venus-09 left the port on Tuesday morning, while three more ships, Al-Bert-P, Umm-Al-Hanaya and Only You are expected to sail on Tuesday.
Cargo volume of192,125 tonnes, comprising 154,677 tonnes imports cargo and37,448 export cargo carried in 4,789 Containers (2,712 TEUs Imports & 2,077 TEUs Export) was handled at the port during last 24 hours.
There are 21 ships at Outer Anchorage of the Port Qasim, out of them six ships, Banglar Agradoot, Royal Orion, Elandra Oak, Maya Gas-1, Ginga Saker and GFS Genesis & two more ships, MSC Lusia and Kassiopi GR carrying Palm oil, Soya Bean Seed, Gas oil, LPG, Chemicals, Container and Coal are expected to take berths at LCT, FAP, FOTCO, SSGC, EVTL, QICT and PIBT on Tuesday18th November, 2025.
