UK Army Chief meets COAS, discusses regional security and defence cooperation
- Both sides reaffirm commitment to continued collaboration for peace and stability in the region
Chief of the General Staff of the United Kingdom Army, General Sir Charles Roland Vincent Walker, called on Chief of Army Staff (COAS) Field Marshal Syed Asim Munir at the General Headquarters (GHQ) on Thursday, the military’s media wing said.
According to the Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR), discussions focused on matters of mutual interest, regional security, and ways to further enhance bilateral defence cooperation.
Both sides reaffirmed their commitment to continued collaboration for peace and stability in the region.

The visiting dignitary lauded the Pakistan Army’s achievements and sacrifices in the fight against terrorism and its efforts for regional peace and stability.
Earlier, General Walker laid a floral wreath at Yadgar-e-Shuhada to pay tribute to the martyrs and was presented with a guard of honour by a contingent of the Pakistan Army.
