LAHORE: A session court on Thursday rejected bail plea of a youtuber Saadur Rehman alias Ducky Bhai in the gambling app promotion case.
Earlier, Duck’s counsel contended that the National Cyber Crime Investigation Agency (NCCIA) neither issued him any notice nor has any witness against the petitioner.
He said Pakistan Telecommunication Authority (PTA) had neither declared illegal nor had banned the app in question.
He, therefore, asked the court to allow bail to his client in accordance with the law.
The court after hearing Duck’s counsel at length rejected his bail plea.
