Corps Commander House attack case: ATC grants 5-day remand of Aleema’s son
LAHORE: An Anti Terrorism Court (ATC) on Saturday granted a five-day physical remand of Sher Shah, son of Aleema Khan and nephew of the PTI former chairman Imran Khan, in the Corps Commander House attack case.
A day earlier, the court had granted physical remand of Sher Shah’s brother, Shahzer in the same case.
Earlier, Sarwar Road police produced the suspect before the court requested for a 30-day physical remand of the suspect.
The Investigating Officer (IO) told the court that the suspect was present at the occurrence and video evidence was available.
The IO played the footage of the occurrence in the court, and pointed out the suspect could be seen in the video.

The IO said, the suspect’s physical remand was required to conduct his photogrammetric and polygraph tests.
The counsel of suspect opposed the physical remand. He argued that it took the police 27 months to implicate his client in the case.
He pointed out that the courts had already discharged several suspects due to such delayed arrests in the May 9 cases.
He, therefore, asked the court to discharge the suspect also from the case.
The court after hearing the arguments, reserved the verdict on the remand request.
