LAHORE: The University of Veterinary and Animal Sciences (UVAS) Lahore signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with Longer Jinhua Industrial Private Limited China for the cooperative research & development and demonstration of efficient goat breeding technology.
Vice-Chancellor Meritor-ious Prof Dr Muhammad Younus (DLAI, TI) and Dean Faculty of Veterinary Science Prof Dr Aneela Zameer Durrani from UVAS while Chairman Pan Boiliang, Ma Ying, Ahmad Ma and Cai Chengxiang from Longer Jinhua Industrial signed the MoU virtually ceremony held at City Campus.
Under the MoU, both parties will conduct scientific research on efficient breeding of goats adopt the techniques of follicle stimulating development with immunosuppressant; improve the breeding performance of single-ovulating goat and molecular mechanisms of follicle development promoted by immunosuppressant. Longer Jinhua Industrial will organize training sessions for UVAS faculty and postgraduate students virtually and physically.
Researchers from Longer Jinhua Industrial will visit UVAS during these sessions and objectives of this session will revolve around reproductive management, feeding management and general husbandry practices. Longer Jinhua Industrial will also provide opportunities to UVAS postgraduate students to pursue academic endeavours within the People’s Republic China.
