FAISALABAD: “It is the first priority of the government to provide a clean environment free from air pollution to the citizens so that people can be protected from asthma, cancer and other respiratory diseases.”
This was said by Deputy Director of Environment Muhammad Usman Millat while addressing a meeting at the office of Industrial Estate Association. He assured to solve the problems of industrialists on priority basis and assured all kind of cooperation.
Earlier, Chairman Millat Industrial State Association Usman Hadi gave a brief introduction to the association and said that we are already running our factories as per the instructions given by the government. Because not only common citizens but also our workers and ourselves can be affected by the harmful effects of air pollution. He said that we are already working on advanced technology and environment-friendly machinery that will prove beneficial in reducing environmental pollution.
Dr Khurram Tariq, Maher Hamid Rashid, Haji Akram Zia, Hafiz Muhammad Asghar, Rao Mujahid Hussain, Faqir Hussain, Hafiz Rabnawaz, Iftikhar Bajwa and other members participated in the meeting.
