LAHORE: The Federation of Pakistan Chambers of Commerce & Industry (FPCCI) appointed Maryyam Qasim Khan as convener of the “Women Empowerment & Development” and “Academia/Industry Linkages” committees.
Maryyam Khan, Vice President of the South Asian Women Development Forum (SAWDF) for Pakistan, brings a wealth of experience and leadership to her new role. As President of the Bahawalpur Women Chamber of Commerce & Industry and Chairperson of the Handicrafts Association of Pakistan, she has championed women’s economic empowerment and driven initiatives supporting women entrepreneurs.
As convener of the “Academia/Industry Linkages” committee, Maryyam Khan will foster connections between educational institutions and the business sector, facilitating internships, research partnerships, and knowledge exchange programmes.
