Malaysia to request 500,000 metric tons of white rice from India

KUALA LUMPUR: Malaysia will request an additional 500,000 metric tons of white rice from India, its agriculture minister said.

Malaysia will send an official request to India through diplomatic channels shortly, Agriculture Minister Mohamad Sabu said in a post on Facebook late on Wednesday.
