KARACHI: On Friday at PMEX, the traded value of Metals, Energy, COTS/FX and indices was recorded at PKR22.851 billion and the number of lots traded was 18,577.
Major business was contributed by Gold amounting to PKR12.223 billion, followed by Currencies through COTS (PKR 3.449 billion), NSDQ 100 (PKR 2.022 billion), Crude Oil (PKR 1.886 billion), Silver (PKR 906.408 million), DJ (PKR 770.139 million), Platinum (PKR 642.763 million), Natural Gas (PKR 293.907 million), Brent (PKR 278.096 million), SP 500 (PKR 140.897 million), Japan Equity (PKR 110.569 million), Palladium (PKR 82.153 million)and Copper (PKR 43.507 million).
In Agricultural commodities,9 lots of Cotton amounting to PKR 10.437 million were traded.
