China’s net gold imports via Hong Kong fell about 23% in October from the previous month, Hong Kong Census and Statistics Department data showed on Monday.

Net imports into the world’s top gold consumer stood at 26.793 metric tons in October, compared with 34.757 tons in September, the data showed.

Total gold imports via Hong Kong were down 19% at 33.581 tons.
