KARACHI: Traders on Tuesday demanded of the city mayor to help the settlement of Landhi and Orangi Cottage Industries, lingering on for the last 30 years.
President of All Pakistan Organization of Small Traders and Cottage Industries, Mahmood Hamid termed the cancelling of ceremony for handing over of allotment letters ‘regrettable’.
The ceremony was due to take place on October 21, 2023 at the Orangi Cottage Industries. He said that the High Court has ordered for the allotment.
He was upset over the sudden postponement of allotment event by the KMC Orangi Cottage Industries, which Mayor Karachi - Murtaza Wahab had to preside over.
