UK’s Sunak will travel to Egypt on Friday for talks on Israel, Gaza

LONDON: British Prime Minister Rishi Sunak will travel to Egypt on Friday where he will hold talks with counterparts in the region to discuss the situation in Israel and Gaza, his office said.

In the talks, Sunak will stress “the imperative of avoiding regional escalation and preventing the further unnecessary loss of civilian life”, his office said.

The country fully responsible for this mess ..... is now going around shedding crocodile tears and having very little impact on the genocide / ethnic cleansing that is taking place. Possibly he like Biden is also thinking of his coming elections.

@Parvez, True but I think his and biden presence in Israel is more as deterrent against action rather than peace talk or ceasefire.
