LONDON: Australia beat India by 209 runs to win the World Test Championship final at The Oval on Sunday.

India, set a record 444 to win, resumed on 164-3. But they collapsed to 234 all out, losing seven wickets for 70 runs inside 24 overs before lunch on the fifth day.

Scott Boland sparked the slump with two wickets in an over, including the prize scalp of Virat Kohli, before off-spinner Nathan Lyon polished off the tail.

Victory meant Australia had now captured the one major men’s cricket title that had previously eluded them.

Congratulations Australia . India is very poor cricket team . They are good on home friendly spin wickets . They are mediocre overseas particularly while playing fast and swing bowling . That is reason has not won any major tournament in last 20 yrs. Any how good effort to reach final and play in final

India is a very poor cricket team . They cannot play pace well particularly fast moving ball in England . They are only good at spinning slow Indian wickets . Not bouncy wickets . Any how achievement they reached final . But very poor show , kohli is very over rated . Babar Azam lot better like his double century against Australia in the fourth innings in Karachi recently
