LAHORE: Punjab Governor Muhammad Balighur Rehman said on Wednesday that the government is utilizing all its resources to stabilize the economy.
“A strong economy is pivotal to the prosperity of country; if the economy is stable, there will be improvement in all sectors including education and health,” the governor said while talking to a delegation led by Chaudhry Shahnawaz Ranjha, President of PML-N Sargodha Division here at Governor House today. Various issues including the current political situation of the country was discussed in the meeting.
Speaking on the occasion, the governor said, “On May 9, the youth were misled, they not only attacked military installations, but also desecrated the memorials of national heroes. The martyrs of Pakistan Army and security agencies are our benefactors and pride,” he said, adding: “The martyrs who laid down their lives for the security and defense of the country deserve our utmost respect.”
