Nepra, CFA sign MoU to promote collaborations in power sector
ISLAMABAD: National Electric Power Regulatory Authority (Nepra) and the Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) Society Pakistan have signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) to promote cooperation and knowledge-sharing between the two organizations.
The MoU signing ceremony was held at Nepra Tower on Wednesday, April 19, 2023. The agreement was signed by Tauseef H Farooqi, Chairman Nepra, and Sajjad Anwar, President, CFA Society Pakistan, in the presence of officials from both organizations.
Under this MoU, Nepra will benefit from the expertise and experience of CFA Society Pakistan’s members. The collaboration aims to further enhance NEPRA’s capacity and knowledge in financial analysis, research, and industry practices, which will ultimately support NEPRA’s regulatory mandate in the power sector.
The MoU signing between Nepra and CFA Society Pakistan is expected to pave the way for future collaborations that will benefit the power sector in Pakistan and promote greater cooperation between industry and professional organizations.
