Macpac Films holds seminar on safety awareness initiative

KARACHI: Macpac Films Ltd, manufacturer and pioneer of flexible packaging films (BOPP - CPP), organised a seminar on +ACI-Agahi ESG Initiative-Safety Awareness Neighbourhood Event+ACI- at Arabian Sea Country Club Limited.

A large number of Eastern Industrial Zone (EIZ) companies at Bin Qasim, attended the environmental, social and governance seminar. Nearly 30 notable among these being Engro Polymer +ACY- Chemicals Ltd, Engro Zarkhez Plant, LOTTE Chemicals Pakistan, Procter +ACY- Gamble Pakistan Pvt Ltd, KE Bin Qasim Power Station, Naveena Steel Mills, Ghani Chemicals Ltd, Tufail Chemicals, Unity Foods, Tuwairqi Steel Mill Ltd, Hascol Lubricants Pvt Ltd, The Green Ark (TGA), Toyo Packaging Pvt Ltd, Ghani Chemicals Ltd, Work Truck Pvt Ltd, Barket Fertilizers Pvt Ltd and Bin Qasim Association of Trade +ACY- Industry.

The purpose of the seminar was to build a community approach between companies in the eastern zone to share ESG knowledge and further to assist each other in the event of an accident or untoward incident.

Ehtesham Maqbool Elahi MD of Macpac Films, M Ashraf Bawany, Vice President of BQATI, Munir Ahmed Dero, In-charge Fire Fighting department Port Qasim Authority spoke at the event.
