KARACHI: Gold and silver prices on Thursday shot up to the new record highs on the local market, traders said.
They skyrocketed by Rs4900 to the all-time highs of Rs195500 per tola and Rs4201 to Rs167610 per 10 grams.
Gold prices on the world market were quoted for $1936 per ounce.
Silver prices grew by Rs50 to the historic highs of Rs2150 per tola and Rs42.87 to Rs1843.28, traders said.
