People belonging to Mujahid Colony, Karachi observed a protest on Friday during an encroachment operation and hurled stones at Green Line Bus, leading to the temporary suspension of its operations.

The Karachi Development Authority (KDA) conducted the operation on the orders of the court. The illegal occupants in the area were served notices which sparked a protest.

The protestors resorted to hurling stones at Green Line Bus Service and occupied its track. The police were summoned to contain the situation.

In December 2021, KDA Director General Asif Ali Memon said that in the light of the Supreme Court orders, the anti-encroachment operation will be launched with a better strategy to demolish illegal structures on KDA lands across the city and settle the playgrounds while in this regard pressure will not be accepted.

If it is proved that encroachments are illegal, then such encroachers (protesters) must be gassed to death in gas chambers. Such gutter scums are cannot be tolerated and therefore, they must be culled without any trial and court proceedings. Case dismissed!!!!!
