Economy: KCCI supports govt’s steps

KARACHI: President Karachi Chamber of Commerce and Industry (KCCI) Muhammad Idrees has reaffirmed his support to the government.

He said that there is no doubt that Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif and Minister for Finance Miftah Ismail are taking unpopular decisions but these efforts need to continue in the larger interest of the economy.

KCCI President highlighted that the business and industrial community stands with the government and is ready to play its role in the face of tough times.

The people of Pakistan must recognize the need for unity in these trying times and work with the government, he said.
