KARACHI: On Monday, at PMEX the traded value of Metals, Energy, COTS/FX and indices was recorded at PKR 13.373 billion and the number of lots traded at 11,787. Major business was contributed by Gold amounting to PKR 2.740 billion, followed by NSDQ 100 (PKR 2.373 billion), Crude Oil (PKR 2.304 billion), Currencies through COTS (PKR 1.852 billion), DJ (PKR 1.712 billion), Silver (PKR 1.561 billion), Natural Gas (PKR 317.328 million), Platinum (PKR 213.451 million), SP 500 (PKR 157.921 million), Palladium (PKR 79.503 million), Japan Equity (PKR 50.465 million), Copper (PKR 9.746 million) and Brent (PKR 0.720 million). In Agricultural Commodities, 5 lots of Cotton amounting to PKR 6.902 were traded.
