Law officer can’t be fired without approval of governor: ex-AGP

LAHORE: Former Advocate General Punjab Ahmed Awais on Monday talking to media persons claimed that the law officer could not be terminated without the approval of the Governor.

The office of the governor has also been lying vacant after the removal of Omar Sarfraz Cheema by the cabinet division. Hence the summary about his removal is still pending for final approval by the Governor, he added.
