KARACHI: Gold prices on Wednesday shot up to another record high on the local market, traders said.
Going up by Rs 1,300, gold prices touched Rs 135,700 per tola, which is another historic high.
Following an increase of Rs 1,115, the yellow metal was traded for Rs 116,341 per 10 grams. On the world market, gold prices were quoted for $1852 per ounce.
Silver prices remained unchanged for Rs 1,500 per tola and Rs 1,286 per 10 grams, traders said.
