Dolce & Gabbana sends drones down the runway instead of models

Just within a week after models were made to carry the replicas of their heads at Milan Fashion Week, another fashion show aimed to top the list as Dolce & Gabbana replaced the complete idea of human models and replaced them all together with drones.

Last week, another high end brand Gucci brought out a unique fashion show at Milan and D&G quickly followed their footsteps. Milan witnessed yet another weird and different fashion show that had the key participants of the runway models missing from the entire façade.

Just a few minutes before the show began, the audience was asked to switch off their internet and Wi-Fi connections.  Dolce & Gabbana started the show without the models and instead with drones carrying the latest collection of their luxury bags.

Followed by the luxury driven drones, models came out wearing some traditional D&G clothing but this time the collection was meant to pay homage to the baroque Oratorio di Santa Cita church in Palermo, Sicily – island of Dolce’s birth.

The fashion mongers called their latest collection ‘Fashion Devotion’ that displayed an assemble of cloths and bags quite contrary to the Vatican Church, even being a little offensive for what it’s worth.
