HAMBURG: South Korea's largest feedmaker Nonghyup Feed Inc. (NOFI) has issued an international tender to purchase up to 69,000 tonnes of corn, 65,000 tonnes of animal feed wheat and 15,000 tonnes of feed barley, European traders said on Wednesday.

The deadline for submission of price offers in the tender is also Wednesday, Sept. 8.

The corn was sought in one consignment for arrival in South Korea around Dec. 10 with price offers sought in both flat in dollars a tonne or at a premium over the Chicago December corn contract.

Shipment is sought if sourced from the US Pacific Northwest coast between Nov. 7-26, if from the US Gulf or Black Sea region between Oct. 18 and Nov. 6, from South America between Oct. 13 and Nov. 1 or from South Africa between Oct. 23 and Nov. 11.

The feed wheat was sought for arrival around Dec. 1 with shipment from the US Pacific Northwest coast/Australia/Canada between Oct. 29 and Nov. 17, from the US Gulf/Black Sea between Oct. 9-28 or from South America between Oct. 4-23.

The feed barley was sought for arrival around Jan. 1, 2022, with shipment from the US Pacific Northwest coast/Australia/Canada between Nov. 29 and Dec. 18, from the US Gulf/Black Sea between Nov. 9-28 or from South America between Nov. 4-23.
