PM commends FBR efforts

ISLAMABAD: Prime Minister Imran Khan, on Saturday, commended the efforts of the Federal Board of Revenue (FBR) for achieving record revenue collection in the month of July 2021. The prime minister has tweeted that record collection of the revenue worth Rs410 billion, which is highest ever in the month of July; 22 percent high than the target fixed for the month.

The prime minister said this is a reflection of the government’s policies for sustained economic growth and revival. He tweeted, “I commend efforts of FBR in achieving record revenue collection in July. As of now collection is Rs410bn which is highest ever in month of July - & around 22 percent above required target for the month.”
