Several feared injured in "bomb attack" at Remembrance Day ceremony in Saudi Arabia

(Karachi) Several people have been reported injured in "bomb attack" during a Remembrance Day ceremony which was held for British and French expats in Saudi Arabia's Jeddah city, AFP News stated.
As per details, France's Foreign Ministry confirmed a number of people have been wounded in the blast at a non-Muslim cemetery in Jeddah. The Consul General of France in Jeddah was apparently attending the event, alongside other European expatriates.
"The annual ceremony commemorating the end of the First World War at the non-Muslim cemetery in Jeddah, involving several consulates general - including the French consulate - was the target of an explosive device attack this morning, which caused several injuries," said the French Ministry.
Investigation officials are carrying out probe and collected evidence from the site of the incident.
Meanwhile, in wake of the attack, the US Consulate in Saudi Arabia has issued a warning instructing American citizens to avoid the nearby area and exercise caution in public places.
