WHO chief in quarantine after coming in contact with COVID-19 positive case

World Health Organization (WHO) Director-General Tedros Adhanom Ghebreyesus announced on Monday that he is self-isolating after he had been identified as a contact of someone who tested positive for coronavirus.
In a tweet, the WHO chief said that he is well and without symptoms but will self-quarantine over the coming days, in line with WHO protocols. He further said that he will work from home.
"My colleagues and I will continue to engage with partners in solidarity to save lives and protect the vulnerable," he tweeted.
In another tweet, Ghebreyesus urged everyone to comply with health guidance to 'break chains of COVID-19 transmission, suppress the virus and protect health systems.
Globally, coronavirus cases have surpassed 46.1 million and has claimed 1.1 million. Over 31 million people have also recovered from the novel virus.
