LAHORE: The PML-N Punjab President, Rana Sanaullah, on Saturday in reference to a statement of Sardar Ayaz said any statement given in the Parliament could not be challenged in any court of law. Rana Sana was talking to media persons in Lahore after appearing before a court in drugs case in which the Anti-Narcotics Force (ANF) had claimed to recover 15 kg heroin from his possession.
The court adjourned further hearing of the case till November 21 when both the defence and prosecution will present their arguments on indictment. Rana Sana also claimed that Prime Minister Imran Khan had summoned and ordered the Punjab Prisons IG not to give any facility to Shahbaz Sharif and Hamza Shahbaz.
Rana said the government was doing nothing except linking the statements of opposition with the Indian narrative and resorting to political victimisation. Rana Sana questioned, "Why didn't the speaker expunge Ayaz Sadiq's words?"
