ISLAMABAD: A citizen on Saturday approached Secretariat Police Station with a complaint to register an FIR against senior PML-N leader Ayaz Sadiq for his controversial statement against release of Indian pilot Abhinandan.
The complainant who is identified as president Federal Capital Youth Wing Islamabad said that a case should be registered against Ayaz Sadiq as he accused the PTI-led government of taking the decision to release Indian pilot Abhinandan under pressure.
The complainant said that the former National Assembly Speaker "voiced" India's narrative by hurling insults against the government and the Armed Forces of Pakistan. He said that Sadiq's speech severely "damaged" the credibility and ideology of Pakistan Armed Forces, adding it was a pre-planned conspiracy to hurt the sentiments of the armed forces as well as the patriotic citizens of the country.
