ISLAMABAD: Justice Qazi Faez Isa on Thursday disclosed his and his family's income and tax paid, and detail of immoveable and moveable properties.

Women Action Forum under Article 19A of Constitution and the Right to Information laws had sought the information of Supreme Court judges and their families' income and tax paid, and assets detail.

Muhammad Tauseef Khan, APS to Justice Qazi Faez Isa, issued the details of the apex court judge and his wife, daughter, and son.

According to that the total income of justice in 2018 was Rs15,113,972 and he paid tax Rs2,200,916.

In 2019, the income was Rs17,145,972 and the tax paid was Rs1,792,007.

Similarly, in 2020 the apex court judge's income was Rs21,237,921 and the tax paid was Rs2,678,799.

Justice Qazi Faez Isa has 800 square yards residential plot in Phase-II of Defence Housing Authority (DHA), Karachi, one 200 yards commercial plot in Phase-V of DHA, which he bought when he was practicing law. He inherited half-share in a plot in Ziarat near Quaid's Residency, from his father Qazi Muhammad Isa. Old house on one kanal in Block B, Phase-1, DHA, Lahore.

The statement said that Justice Faez Isa has Rs41,330,856 in Pak rupee accounts and Rs4,114,137 equivalent in foreign currency accounts.

He has one Honda Accord, one Honda Civic, and one Mini Jeep.

The statement further states that Justice Qazi Faez declined to avail plots as judge of the Supreme Court and as Chief Justice of Balochistan High Court.

He has also declined to receive prohibited bore weapons, which is offered to the judges of the Supreme Court and the High Courts.

Justice Qazi Faez's statement mentioned that his wife Sarina Isa is not his dependent and files her own income tax returns in the United Kingdom and Pakistan.

The statement said that the voluntarily public disclosure by Sarina Isa shows that her income in 2018 was Rs4,071,864 and she paid Rs576,540 as tax.

In 2019 her income was Rs5,331,076 and paid Rs809,970 as income tax. Similarly, in 2020 the income was Rs6,614,984 and the tax paid was Rs1,098,700.

Sarina Isa has 172.91 acres in Deh Korar, District Jacobabad, Sindh, a plot in Shah Latif Town, Karachi, and three properties in the UK.

She also has Saving Certificates amounting to Rs21,650,000.

She has Rs15,292,530 in rupee accounts, and Rs25,763,734 in foreign currency accounts.

Justice Qazi Faez's daughter is 33-year-old is married living in Pakistan with her three children.

She files income tax in to UK and Pakistan.

The judge's 30-year-old son lives in London and pays tax in the UK.
