KARACHI: North Karachi Association of Trade & Industry (NKATI) president Faisal Moiz Khan has demanded that KWSB officials should be directed to provide uninterrupted supply of water to the industries of North Karachi as per the production requirement so that the industrialists could play a role to fulfill Prime Minister Imran Khan's vision of strengthening the economy of Pakistan by promoting productive activities.

While expressing deep concern over the non-supply of water to the industries of North Karachi industrial area as per the production requirement, he asked MD KWSB that if the industries were shut down due to non-supply of water, the entire responsibility would fall on the MD as despite the repeated indications of water shortage by NKATI, the industries are not being supplied with water as required.

Faisal Moiz pointed out in the meeting that the prime minister admitted that the country would be on the path of development if the industries were to flourish. However, the deliberate obstruction of water supply to the industries by the KWSB is causing serious reservations among the industrialists.
