KARACHI: On Tuesday, PMEX the traded value of metals, energy, COTS/FX and indices was recorded at PKR 6.961 billion and the number of lots traded 8,935.
Major business was contributed by gold amounting to PKR 2.796 billion, followed by currencies through COTS PKR 1.452 billion, copper PKR 650.628 million, silver PKR 650.622 million, NSDQ 100 PKR 452.295 million, DJ PKR 336.323 million, natural gas PKR 239.234 million, crude oil PKR 238.103 million, platinum PKR 118.765 million and SP500 PKR 26.023 million.
In agriculture commodities, 2 lots of soybean amounting to PKR 16.411 million, 2 lots of wheat amounting to PKR 9.106 million, 2 lot of corn amounting to PKR 6.021 million and one lot of cotton amounting to PKR 0.539 million were traded.
