Several feared trapped as factory building collpases in Sher Shah

(Karachi) Several people are feared trapped after the factory building collapsed near Siemens Chowrangi in Sher Shah, media has reported.
As per initial reports, the part of the building that caved in consisted of four departments and a number of employees were present in it when the incident occurred.
Soon after the incident, rescue workers rushed to the spot and started rescue operation. Till filing of this report, two persons in injured condition have been pulled out of the debris and shifted to local hospital.
Rangers personnel also reached the site and cordoned of the area to commence relief operation.
On September 13, two people died and 10 others sustained injuries when a two-storey residential building collapsed in Karachi's Lyari area.
According to details, the building collapsed in Lyari's Koyla Godam. Soon after the incident, rescue teams immediately reached the scene and shifted the bodies and injured people to local hospital.
