KARACHI: On Tuesday, PMEX traded value of metals, energy, COTS/FX and indices was recorded at PKR 8.063 billion and the number of lots traded was 10,410.

Major business was contributed by gold amounting to PKR 4.624 billion, followed by currencies through COTS PKR 793.296 million, silver PKR 710.843 million, copper PKR 667.076 million, NSDQ 100 PKR 580.558 million, natural gas PKR 286.551 million, platinum PKR 231.694 million, crude oil PKR 66.568 million, DJ PKR 61.296 million and SP500 PKR 41.327 million.

In agriculture commodities 12 lots of cotton amounting to PKR 6.539 million and one lot of wheat amounting to PKR 4.695 million were traded.
