KARACHI: On Wednesday, PMEX traded value of metals, energy, COTS/FX and indices was recorded at PKR 9.055 billion and the number of lots traded was 12,883.

Major business was contributed by gold amounting to PKR 5.971 billion, followed by silver PKR 841.811 million, NSDQ 100 PKR 701.839 million, currencies through COTS PKR 596.767 million, natural gas PKR 402.927 million, Platinum PKR 308.720 million, SP500 PKR 85.577 million, crude oil PKR 65.277 million, DJ PKR 52.234 million and copper 28.893 million.

In agriculture commodities one lot of wheat amounting to PKR 4.518 million and 7 lots of cotton amounting to PKR 3.856 million were traded.
