KARACHI: A special sitting of the Sindh Assembly was on Wednesday held to mark the Youm-e-Istehsal-e-Kashmir to show solidarity with the Kashmiris under Indian occupation.

At the start of the special session, national anthem was played as speaker, Aga Siraj Durrani rose from his chair with the lawmakers to pay respect to the Kashmiri people.

The sitting started 30 minutes late. PTI legislator, Saeed Afridi called for prayers to end Indian occupation of Kashmir and its freedom.

He also prayed for those killed in Beirut blast the other night.
