Hamza Ali Abbasi faces social media wrath yet again

Pakistani actor and social media activist Hamza Ali Abbasi's outspokenness has brought him trouble quite often and the ‘Pyarey Afzal’ actor is in hot waters yet again over his latest comments on Valentine’s Day.

Pakistan’s renowned Physicist Dr Pervez Hoodbhouy raised his voice against the Valentine’s Day ban through his Facebook post. However, Hamza did not take this post lightly and decided to put forth his opinions against it.

Hamza criticized Dr Hoodbhouy, saying that he should focus on his science projects, physics and rockets and leave the Valentine’s Day debate for molvis. As soon as Hamza shared this tweet, social media came after the actor.

So Mr Hoodbhoy, U expect Molvis to teach physics & make rockets? Maybe if Physicists like U focus more on ur work rather than spending all ur time debating with Molvis, maybe U could help launch a rocket into space soon? Nadeem Farooq Paracha tweeted against the ‘Waar’ actor saying that if he could teach morality, ethics and piety then why Dr Hoodbhouy can’t expect molvis to teach physics. Another social media activist and columnist called Hamza a “pathetic disgrace”.

Many others came in between this debate, criticizing the actor for his ignorant comments on such sensitive issues.
