Notices issued in death registration case

The Lahore High Court here on Wednesday issued notices for February 17 in a petition seeking registration of case for the death of one Salma Bibi who was died in ambulance due to traffic blockage. Petitioner, a bar member, Asad Mehmood contended that Salma bibi was died on the way to hospital due to traffic blockage.
He said doctors and paramedical staff had blocked the road and Salma died as she could not receive medical treatment in time. He approached the concerned police station for registration of criminal case against the responsible but the SHO concerned refused to register the case. He therefore prayed to the court to direct the respondent SHO to register the case against the responsible persons. The court after hearing the petitioner counsel at length issued notices to the respondents for February 17.
