Five shot dead in Naushero Feroz

At least five people were killed and several others injured here in a firing incident, police said. As per details, some unidentified armed persons opened fire at a car carrying five people at Moro Highway in Naushero Feroz district. The attackers were hiding in sugar cane fields and fired at the car. A passenger van passing by the site was also attacked. All the five people in the car were killed on the spot while several others in the passenger van were also injured.
Eyewitnesses said the incident might result from some personal enmity. According to the media reports, the people in the car were on their way back home after attending a court hearing. The investigations of the incident have been started.
