US soyabean futures rose for a third straight session on Tuesday, buoyed by concerns about Brazil's crop prospects and fresh export demand for US supplies, traders said. Wheat and corn futures were lower but pared early declines as soyabeans rose to a near four-month high.
At the Chicago Board of Trade as of 10:54 am CST (1654 GMT), March soyabeans were up 6 cents at $12.58 per bushel, after rising to $12.60-1/2, the highest spot soyabean price on the continuous chart since October 17, 2011. CBOT March wheat was down 2-1/4 cents at $6.39 per bushel and March corn was down 3 cents at $6.36-1/2 a bushel.
