At least two teenagers were crushed to death in a road accident in Gulberg police station remits on Tuesday. According to police, the incident took place at Ayesha Mazil where two pillion riders were knocked by speedy trailer (TLL-402). Resultantly, both victims received fatal wounds and succumbed to their injures on spot.
Police said the identities of the victims were yet to be ascertained as the bodies were badly trodden in the trailer' wheels. Later, the bodies were shifted to Abbasi Shaheed Hospital for post mortem. Following the incident, enraged people gathered at the spot and set the vehicle ablaze that caused massive gridlock at Shahrah Pakistan for hours. Police said the responsible driver was arrested and his trailer was also impounded and added that they had also recovered a cell phone from one of the deceased and were trying to contact their family.
