Three women among five people killed

Five people, including three women, were killed in two separate incidents, here on Sunday. Police said unidentified accused entered the house of a widow Khurshid Bibi in Chah Qazian and killed her and her two sons, Khawar (22) and Babar (24), with a sharp-edged weapon. The motive of the offence could not be ascertained.
Police moved the bodies to the city morgue and started investigation. In another incident, unknown people stormed into the house of Safia Bibi in Channi Hanjranwan and shot dead her and her daughter Shafqat (22) over some issue. Police have registered a case and started investigation into the incident.
